Two of which are the main stages were celebrations took place. The magnificent “Centro Internacional de Ferias y Congresos” (International Fair and Congress Centre) is itself a contemporary piece, by Santiago Calatrava, and the central area of Santa Cruz, which boasts many emblematic spaces such as: the plazas of El Príncipe, La Candelaria, Weyler, San Francisco, and España, as well as the streets known as Calle Castillo and Calle San José.

Hits from the event, whose theme was “The Deep Sea”.

People excitedly await the Queen of Carnival contest to witness the event and her crowning, having taken place this year on the night of the 27th of February thanks to the participation, creativity and sheer genius of 19 designers and 19 radiant contestants. Each and everyone gave her all on stage, with the support of their sponsors.

As a result, the winner was Priscila Medina Quintero, coming in at first place with an incredible performance;  “La Nuit”, by designer Sedomir Rodríguez de La Sierra, with the level of shine, strength, and luxury on stage that you can come up expect from Tenerife Carnival.

Beating the historical records of visitors to any event at Tenerife Carnival, on the 9th of March, well over 400,000 people came together at the stage at Avenida Anaga. The real space where people celebrate the carnival is on the street. In fact, this is why so many people come together to live such an experience in Tenerife, one of the best and safest places to enjoy a festival of this magnitude.
