Are the tours private?
Yes, all the experiences shown on the web are private. Your guide will pick you up in a private vehicle and you will enjoy the chosen experience for your reservation, in a fully private way.
In which languages can I enjoy the tour?
At Feel Tenerife® we speak Spanish, English and German. All the tours shown on the web are available in the three languages. Except for some of the tours shown on the “TASTE” section, which are not available in German. You can check it in the data sheet of each tour.
Where is the meeting or pick-up point?
At Feel Tenerife® we care about your comfort. This is why:
- If you are staying on the island. We pick you up at the hotel or accommodation where you are staying or at an alternative point as close as possible.
- If you arrive by cruise. The meeting point for Official Tour Guides is located in the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Located next to the access ramp to the city centre, where the Port´s Marina building is located (Look for a building with a pyramid-shaped glass roof.) You can see detailed information about the meeting point by clicking here and printing or saving the map. You can also see its location on Google Maps by clicking here. Do not take the Shuttle Bus, walk from the ship to the meeting point following the blue line marked on the ground in the direction of the “City Centre”. The walk will take you about 15-20 minutes. Your guide will be waiting for you there.
When is the meeting / pick-up time?
It depends on each itinerary and operational needs. In the data sheet of each tour, I inform you of the usual departure time. I will always send you a reminder via WhatsApp or email, during the 24 hours prior to the tour.
How long are the tours?
In the data sheet of each experience, you can check the duration. There are half day (4-5 hrs.) and full day (7-8 hrs.) experiences. However, being a private tour, I always adapt them to the availability of time you have, especially for cruise passengers.
What is included in the tours?
Each experience is unique, and in each corresponding section of the website you will find the details sheet where I indicate detailed information about what is included in each experience.
What it is not included in the tours?
Anything that is not explicitly stated on the details sheet of each tour.
What is the best time of year to visit the island?
The island of Tenerife is one of the lucky Canary Islands and we are fortunate to have a wonderful climate throughout the year. The island enjoys a 22°C annual average temperature. So, any month is good, but do not forget that the island has many microclimates.
What day of the week can I book the tours?
Due to operational or availability reasons, tours are only available on certain days of the week. I invite you to check availability in the booking engine calendar, by clicking on the BOOK NOW button. Available days appear in green. Availability is very limited! Do not leave it for the last minute.
How far in advance should I book?
You can always check if there is availability in the booking engine calendar, even up to 24 hours in advance for some tours. I suggest you book as far in advance as possible, to ensure the desired date for your experience. Especially during the high season (between October and April).
Will I receive an email with the confirmation of my reservation and voucher?
It will arrive immediately after confirming the payment of your reservation on my website. Do not forget to indicate your email address correctly in the reservation form.
Will the experience be cancelled in the case of adverse weather?
My philosophy is that you enjoy the island to the fullest, it is not usual for me to cancel a tour, but I reserve the right to modify the itineraries for weather reasons. I will offer you any other itinerary in another zone of Tenerife. In this case, I will always inform you in advance about this issue.
Do the tours involve a lot of walking?
It is mainly walked during hiking activities. However, I always adapt to your needs and interests. Always taking into account your physical condition and ensuring your comfort and safety at all times.
What clothing and footwear would be most appropriate?
In the corresponding section of the website, you can consult the data sheet. Where I indicate the practical tips, including the type of clothing and footwear recommended for each tour.
Can I bring backpacks, bags or luggage with us?
Concerning luggage, please let us know in advance, as it could cause a major inconvenience. Small bags or backpacks pose no problem, as you can store them in the boot of my minivan.
What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?
Booking cancellations must be notified in writing via email addressed to: firstname.lastname@example.org . Do not forget to take note of our booking terms and cancellation policy. You can find this also in your booking confirmation. The cancellation policy will be applied as relevant in each case.
Can I change the tour date or for another activity once my reservation is confirmed?
It will be possible only if there is availability for that day. In any case, you should contact us via email to check availability and rates.
Is the vehicle adapted for wheelchair users?
My minivan is not adapted, but it does have the capacity to carry a folding wheelchair for people with disabilities. In case of needing a wheelchair-enabled vehicle, it would be possible only under special request. I love people and do my best to make my tours accessible and inclusive.
